Common use
Nortriptyline belongs to the class of tricyclic antidepressants (TCAs). This medication is used to treat major depression and childhood nocturnal enuresis (bedwetting). Nortriptyline can be also applied for other purposes.
Dosage and direction
Take Pamelor by mouth with a glass of water, with or without food. Take the drug only as prescribed because dosage and schedule may vary depending on your condition and other factors. Avoid cutting, crushing or chewing this medicine.
Do not take the medicine more often than it is prescribed. Do not give up taking it except on the advice of your doctor.
It may need time for the medicine to help.
